Informix Dynamic Server DBMS and designed using System Architect for UML

- Developed
and was the lead developer for Expense Assignment System (EAS) IV
as a contractor with
Electronic Data Systems in Herndon, Virginia, and Falls Church,
VA. This was a Department of
Defense Health Affairs system for tracking costs and expenses for
workload, personnel, and materials in the operation of Medical Treatment
Facilities (MTFs). This
system was developed (at the time) with Delphi 3 Client/Server and Delphi
4 Client/Server using Informix Dynamic Server DBMS and
BusinessObjects 4.1.
- Designed and developed the System Interfaces
subsystem of EAS IV, which imports and processes data files from other
financial, personnel, and resource systems.
- Designed and developed the Transmissions
subsystem of EAS IV, which extracts data from the EAS IV database, and
transmits them to the EAS IV Repository using File Transfer Protocol
(FTP).

objects from IBMŐs ImagePlus VisualInfo for AdWare Systems, Louisville,
KY.
- Designed and developed an Internet-based
multimedia retrieval program using Java (Symantec Visual Caf) and
Microsoft Visual C++ to retrieve and view multimedia and graphic objects
from IBMŐs ImagePlus VisualInfo (later called IBM Digital Library) for

and ODBC to take GM and Ford Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) data and
generate C++ declarations for each make, model, engine, transmission type,
etc. for Microprocessor Solutions, Inc. (MPSI),
- Designed and developed a document imaging system
with IBM for Federated Department Stores to archive and retrieve benefits,
retirement and other records. Visual Basic 3.0 was used as the front end
and IBM's ImagePlus VisualInfo was used to store and retrieve the images.
Borland C++ 4.5 was used to interface with the VisualInfo Windows API, and
IBM C Set++ was used on OS/2 to access VisualInfo.
- Developed a document imaging system with IBM for
Chrysler Motor Corp.'s Customer Center using Visual Basic 3.0, Sybase
SQLServer (ODBC), Unix System V, Excalibur Software Products, and
Walldata's Rumba.
